Banjo #265, “Bernadette”
Imagine a 15 inch banjo made of Oregon White oak, Massaranduba and Honduran Rosewood. A long story is attached to this banjo…finding the rosewood while working in Honduras, hand carrying it home. The White Oak wood that you see in the mid-section of the pot was harvested in our forest, while cutting our yearly firewood*. The tone is excellent, and it is delightful in its appearance. Being a larger instrument , it has a wider expression of sound. One of our favorites builds to date! We will be doing this again…!
